Contributions into the Patient Philanthropy Fund are invested for long-term gains, initially in a low-fee Global Stock Index Fund. When a critical time, need, or opportunity arises, we step in to make a grant. Taking a patient approach allows us to wait for a point in time when the highest-impact opportunities are available, which may be years, decades, or even centuries ahead.
