Its first mission is The Shield: an AI-powered satellite monitoring system that helps Indigenous communities in the Amazon detect illegal deforestation, mining and land grabbing in real time.
The challenge
Capacity is based in Switzerland. German donors wanted to support the work, but needed a German donation receipt. The process also had to fit seamlessly into Capacity’s English-language website.
With bcause, Capacity can now receive tax-effective donations from Germany without setting up a German charity. The bcause donation form is embedded directly into the Capacity website, works in English, and keeps the donor journey smooth.
The result
German donors can support The Shield with a valid German donation receipt. Capacity can focus on protecting the Amazon, not on cross-border admin.
